FNHL owns or operates the following properties:

The Opua Marine Park is conveniently situated between the Bay of Islands Marina and Boatyard. It consists mainly of multi-tenanted industrial, commercial and retail units, and a new retail and charter base building on the Opua wharf.

The area currently accommodates over sixty businesses that service the marine industry.

This busy hub of the Bay of Islands marine sector hosts the hundreds of overseas vessels and their crews that arrive in Port Opua each year as their first point of entry into New Zealand. It also provides goods and services to the many visiting and local boats and crews occupying the marina, using the boatyard and enjoying the Bay of Islands.

This is Kaitaia’s premium learning centre where leading registered training provider North Tec is transforming peoples’ lives on a daily basis.

Northtec is the only Northland-based tertiary education institute. It provides programmes ranging through foundation, certificate, diploma and degree levels.

The waterfront Paihia Maritime Building is a local landmark offering a vibrant shopping experience. It is home to booking offices for air, land and sea tours and adventures, and CBK – Craft Bar Kitchen known for it’s craft beer and stonegrill.

Positioned on Paihia Wharf near the town centre, the Paihia Maritime Building is the central meeting, drop-off and collection point for locals and tourists alike.

Paihia Wharf is a popular meeting point. Adjacent to the Horotutu/Our Place community park. The Wharf is Paihia’s water activities hub and the departure point for parasailing, scuba diving, fishing trips, jet boating, private charter yachts, dinner cruises, helicopter rides, jet skis, and commercial sightseeing and dolphin watching tours.

It is also home to Charlottes Kitchen, a social contemporary dining experience over the water with views across the bay.

Ever mindful of the needs of our residents and visitors, FNHL has provided a 212-space car park right in the middle of town. Within walking distance of the shops, wharf, beach and parks, the parking prices are refreshingly reasonable (casual users: $2 per hour; annual fee: $950.00 + GST), especially if you come from Auckland!
