Empowering our youth
One key focus area is supporting our young adults.
Each year we sponsor 12 students from local colleges to attend a 7-day youth development voyage aboard the Tucker Thompson.
This renowned program supports students to experience the ocean whilst building leadership and crucial life skills.
Additionally, we have established an annual scholarship fund of $50,000 to support Ngapuhi students in their higher education endeavors.
Bringing communities together
Over the years, we've backed numerous emergency and rescue services through various contributions.
Events play a vital role in bringing our communities and businesses together. From the Bay of Islands Sailing Week to the Millennium Cup and the Tall Ships Regatta, as well as the nostalgic bathtub racing and the Ocean Swims Series with FNDC, we offer support for a diverse range of activities.
Our commitment extends to supporting various clubs that are crucial to our communities, and we are continuously exploring avenues for deeper engagement. We welcome enquiries about our community engagement support.
