Last week we were pleased to welcome Minister Chris Penk to Ngawha Innovation and Enterprise Park as part of his tour of Northland, coordinated by the team at NorthChamber.

The visit was a great opportunity to share our long-term vision for the Park and highlight some of the innovative work taking place on site, including activity within The Mahinga Innovation Centre and the Natural Product Development Cluster. The Minister was particularly interested in Holistic Hound, a natural pet care range formulated in the centre's laboratories by Erica Wells and Suzanne Hall.

We appreciated the chance to host Minister Penk, who holds multiple portfolios, including minister for Building and Construction, Small Business and Manufacturing, Minister for Land Information and is also MP for Kaipara ki Mahurangi. It was a great opportunity to showcase the collaboration and enterprise driving growth here in the Far North.
