Far North Holdings is pleased to be introducing a new, modernised parking payment system at the Williams Road carpark in Paihia. Starting 2 December 2024, the system will streamline the parking experience, improve convenience and ensure a smoother operation for both locals and visitors.
Benefits for the Community
The new system will maintain the current parking rates for the 2025 financial year. Revenue collected will directly contribute to the maintenance of the carpark, ensuring it remains in excellent condition for future use.
A 30-minute grace access period will allow brief stops, perfect for quick errands or drop-offs, with continued access between School Road and Williams Road without charge.
Key Features of the New System
License Plate Recognition Technology The advanced technology will capture license plate details without the need for barrier arms, making entry and exit swift and seamless.
Flexible Payment Options Drivers can choose from multiple payment methods, including a cashless on-site parking machine, a mobile app, and online payment.
24-Hour Access The carpark, with its 160 parking spaces, including spots for campervans, remains open around the clock, ensuring it is easily accessible for all.
